Add to that the verdancy and tangled roots of the L’Apelle mangrove forest with its plentiful birdlife separating beach from road and you have a very idyllic setting indeed. Despite its apparent remoteness, Petit Carenage is very accessible. You can get there from the High North Nature Trail if you are walking from the west coast via Anse La Roche, or alternatively you can reach it by walking northwards from the boatbuilding village of Windward on the east coast.

Pretty good guide book as far as covering what there is to see and do. Only 4 stars because it lacks detailed directions to things like trail heads, beaches, points of interest, etc. with the roads all being small and poorly marked this book wasn't much help actually getting to the cool locations it tells you about. Having said that, between this book, the maps that are supplied by the car rental companies and the house we rented and stopping to ask the very friendly people of Grenada for help, we were able to get around and find everything just fine!

Used for Grenada and Carriacou. Informative. Fairly up to date. Info was accurate.

Took a long time to get, but it is an excellent book.

This book is a bit outdated in some tourist topics, but all I could find specifically regarding Grenada. There is a great history of the island and general information on Grenada.

Brandt Books are great - used the same line in Dominica. Highly recommend since it's a more in-depth and personal guide than some of the others I've used for these smaller caribbean countries.

Since childhood, I have been a huge fan of film music in general, and of John Williams in particular. Audissino, with this scholarly study of Williams, demonstrates how his film scores of the late 70's and early 80's fit into the traditional styles of the Hollywood golden age film music that was created by composers such as Max Steiner and Erich Wolfgang Korngold.I ordered this book expecting to just browse it in small bites during my free time, but found it so fascinating and engrossing I ended up reading it all in a couple of days!

My daughter needed information for a research paper on John Williams, and this was definitely the book to use. If you enjoy the films he has scored, it would be an interesting read as well. Highly recommend!

I bought this book for my 3 year old before taking him to his second dentist visit. His first one he wouldn't open his mouth. The dentist was expecting trouble for his 3 yr old check, but no! My son was so excited about it! We read the Dora book so many times I knew it by heart. It shows a lot of the same tools a real dentist uses and even goes through the cavity process. I was blown away and so was the dentist. If your child likes Dora buy this book!!

I got this for my girls as it is just about time for their first trip to the dentist. It goes through the process of going to the dentist. There are a number of fun things, such as a page where you match up characters with xrays of their mouths. They explain cavities, xrays, & common dentist tools. I am hopeful being familiar with the dentist & the fact that mom will be calm (I am not afraid of the dentist), their first trip to the dentist will go smoothly.

this book is great. the Dora creators understand preschoolers. The sentences are short and engaging. It asks the kids questions (can you find the purple toothbrush?) thing are explained well at a preschool level. I think it has helped reduce my 3yo son's nervousness about getting a cavity filled. Great book describing all aspects of a trip to the dentist. We bought this and another similar book because our four year old has such a difficult time at the dentist. Our four year old and 20 month old both love this book.

I bought this book to read to my daughter as a way to prepare her for going to the dentist for the first time. She was 2 months shy of 4 years old at the time. I read the book to her for about 2 weeks before taking her to the dentist, going over each step carefully. We also have a dental mirror in our medicine cabinet, so I showed that to her when going over the page describing the different dental tools and showed her how the dentist uses it to view the teeth. This booked did a great job preparing her for the dentist! We took her to a children's dentist office, so they also know how to work with children and show them each step, and she recognized everything from the book. She was a great trooper during her first visit, even during the x-rays, which was only lightly covered in the book.I should also add that my daughter has a developmental delay with some signs of autism, and she still did great at the dentist's after reading this book to her. I just took her to the dentist for her second visit this month and read the book to her every night for a week beforehand, and again she was a great trooper at the dentist's and knew she would get to pick out a sticker and a toothbrush at the end.I highly recommend using this book to prepare your toddler for his or her first dental visit! If you go over the steps carefully and show them a bit how things are done while reading the book, they'll know what to expect and will be less likely to get fearful.

Next, go to Walmart or Target and buy her a Dora toothbrush and show her what Dora uses, and how to brush teeth (especially after eating any sweets) The earlier you can instill good habits in your child, the better and easier it is for you as the parent or caregiver.As a parent, I don't care very much for Dora books or shows, but who asked me for my opinion? We care what our child thinks and wants in a book.

Great book to read and get little one comfortable to going to dentist for the first time. Explains the tools, process, dentist and assistant...very thorough, and very positive (as always for Dora!) My little girl did great at the dentist after we read this book a few times.

This book really did help my daughter ease into attending the dentist twice a year. She was not scared andx it gave her a real idea of what to expect. Great read for parents and children before a trip to the dentist!!
